Job Description

This position will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a quality control program that complies with our standards and effectively improves product performance. This person will be held accountable for the final inspection of all products before reaching the customer.

Position: Full-time
  • Oversee all productions parts to ensure they meet all requirements
  • Document all quality issues, first article inspections, and customer RMA’s
  • Plan and improve quality processes, forms, and policies
  • Perform dimensional inspections throughout the metal fabrication processes
  • Perform visual inspection of final painted products
  • Assist engineering department with ECR’s as needed
  • Provide input towards continuous improvement in the manufacturing process
  • Follow all company safety and quality requirements
  • Perform all other duties as required by management

Education & Work Experience:

  • 2-4 year degree in a related area OR 5+ years of experience in a similar field (Required)
  • Minimum 2 years in the metal fabrication process

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of the quality and manufacturing principles
  • Must know how to read blueprints
    • Receives work orders and prints and use shop calculations/math if necessary; works from complex drawings, prints, templates, and specifications
  • Excellent skills in Math
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and CAD software (such as SolidWorks)
  • Strong communication skills; ability to communicate and understand both written and verbal instructions in English
  • Possess problem-solving, team development, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work well alone and with others
  • Ability to work safely and accurately
