Job Description

This position will be responsible for performing an array of functions including, but not limited to, accepting and processing incoming stock and material, picking and delivering orders, packing and shipping orders, and organizing and managing stock in the warehouse.

Position: Full-time
  • Maintain warehousing and distribution operations by coordinating and enforcing a program
  • Control inventory/conducting physical or cycle counts as needed
  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area
  • Assist in pulling parts as needed
  • Deliver finished jobs as needed
  • Make runs as needed
  • Process paperwork correctly and give to the appropriate person(s)
  • Manage paperwork and process for paint and any other outside vendor
  • Operate forklift as needed
  • Operate and understand proper lifting and rigging techniques
  • Follow all company safety and quality requirements
  • Perform all other duties as required by management

Education & Work Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
  • Previous experience in a warehouse (Preferred)

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Must know how to read blueprints
    • Receives work orders and prints and use shop calculations/math if necessary; works from complex drawings, prints, templates, and specifications
  • Excellent skills in Math
  • Strong communication skills; ability to communicate and understand both written and verbal instructions in English
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work well alone and with others
  • Ability to work safely and accurately

Physical Requirements

  • Capacity to bend, sit, stand, and stoop for periods during normal job duties as required
  • Ability to work in a noisy environment.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, vision protection, hard-hat, steel-toed shoes, and other appropriate protective clothing.
