Our story
Eighty years in the field
The Alloway name goes back to 1946. The family building it in Fargo goes back nearly as far. Eighty years on, Alloway equipment runs through 230+ dealers across the United States and Canada.
1946
A name forged by blacksmiths
Blacksmiths in Caldwell, Idaho start the family-owned Alloway business, and the name begins earning its reputation in sugar beet country.
1940s
Two brothers come home
After repairing Navy ships in Seattle through the war, Joe and Ted Lepine return to Fargo and open Standard Industries, a sheet metal shop built on shipyard standards.
1976
The second generation
Jim Lepine buys the business, and custom stainless work for American Crystal Sugar pulls the family deep into the sugar beet industry.
2003
Alloway comes to Fargo
The Lepine family buys the Alloway sugarbeet line from Woods Equipment. The name growers trust joins the family that builds to last.
2022
Room to grow
A new 122,000 square foot Alloway facility is constructed, sized for the next generation of the line.

Twelve-row lifting at 22-inch spacing, built for high-acre beet operations.
The HV-12R22 is Alloway's twelve-row rigid sugarbeet harvester, configured for 22-inch row spacing and built to dig at 7+ MPH. Its unique 84 inch high-volume curved scrub elevator is the widest in the 12-row market, and in ideal conditions the machine increases production up to 30 percent. Built and supported from Fargo, North Dakota.

Eight-row lifting at 22-inch spacing for mid-size beet acres.
The HV-8R22 is Alloway's eight-row sugarbeet harvester, configured for 22-inch row spacing and built to harvest more sugarbeets than competitor 8-row harvesters: up to 35 percent more production at 5.5 MPH. Its unique 64 inch high-volume curved scrub elevator is the widest in the 8-row market, with a lower tractor HP requirement. Built and supported from Fargo, North Dakota.
